Updated Technical Information Sheets reflect revised EN standards

Eurobitume has updated five Technical Information Sheets (TIS) following CEN’s revision of the EN standards on Kinematic Viscosity (EN 12595), Dynamic Viscosity (EN 12596), PAV (EN 14769), DSR (EN 14770) and BBR (EN 14771).

These EN standards were updated following their systematic five-year review and revision: a process into which Eurobitume provided practical experiences and expert input which, for example, resulted in the revised EN 14771 taking into account our position on how to calculate results from test data.

The TIS revisions factored in updates to the respective EN standards and aligned experiences/guidances from Eurobitume´s members.

The updated TIS are available in seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.

Eurobitume currently has a comprehensive suite of 13 TIS covering the main bituminous binder technical test and conditioning methods in use in Europe. All of these are available to download, in a choice of languages, from the PUBLICATIONS / Documents page of the Eurobitume website.
