The E&E Event 2026 will be held next month in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria on 11th to 12th June, and is titled ‘Perspectives from the Asphalt and Bitumen sector’. The programme prepared for this third edition of the E&E Event can be downloaded here and includes six sessions which address the following important areas:
- Sustainable Road Construction in Europe – Policy, Regulation and Practice in Dialogue
- Next-Gen Talent Acquisition and Reinventing the World of Work
- Paving the Way to Decarbonisation: Data, Paths, Progress
- Managing Safe Sites with a Focus on Emissions
- Future Trends for Roads and Materials
- What can we expect: Trends Shaping Our Industry
Of particular interest to many will be a presentation on Eurobitume’s Decarbonisation Pathway for Bitumen, delivered by Eurobitume HSE Lead Dr Brice Delaporte in the third session, taking place between 16:15 and 17:30 on Thursday, 11th June.
Networking & Social Events
This year’s event will also offer excellent opportunities to connect and network with fellow attendees in both informal and exclusive settings before and during the conference.
On Wednesday evening, 10 June, delegates can opt for a pre-event dinner to experience authentic Viennese hospitality at the renowned Salm Bräu brewery restaurant, located just a five-minute walk from the main event venue. On Thursday evening, 11 June, attendees will be invited to join an exclusive networking dinner at the prestigious Weltmuseum, situated within the magnificent Hofburg Palace in the heart of Vienna. Reached by a scenic 30-minute walk through Vienna’s historic city centre or approximately 20 minutes by public transport from the event venue, the Weltmuseum provides a memorable setting for an evening of networking. Admission to the dinner is included in the event registration fee.
