Decarbonisation Roadmap webinar recording is available
Which decarbonisation measures could make the greatest difference—and what is needed to implement them?
These were among the key questions explored during Eurobitume’s recent webinar on its Decarbonisation Roadmap for Bitumen.
Presented by Eurobitume Sustainability Lead Dr Brice Delaporte, the webinar detailed the realistic but ambitious pathway developed by Eurobitume for reducing the greenhouse gas emissions associated with bitumen production in Europe.
Brice explained how carbon footprint of European bitumen production is estimated to have evolved since 1990 and outlined how it could be further reduced towards 2050. He also highlighted the levers with the greatest reduction potential and the conditions needed to support their implementation.
The presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to explore the Roadmap’s findings and their practical implications in greater detail.
