Eurobitume Joins the EU Transparency Register to Strengthen Industry Representation
We are pleased to share that Eurobitume is now officially listed on the EU Transparency Register, the European Union’s platform for organisations seeking to engage with EU institutions in a transparent and accountable manner.

This registration reflects our ongoing commitment to constructive dialogue and active participation in the policy and regulatory processes that impact the bitumen industry. The Transparency Register allows stakeholders to publicly declare their interest in EU decision-making.
By joining this register, Eurobitume gains official recognition as a representative body, ensuring we can continue to engage effectively with EU institutions on matters relevant to our sector. Most notably, this includes opportunities such as:
- Acting as an industry observer during the development of harmonised standards under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) Acquis process.
- Contributing to discussions on the upcoming standardisation request for road materials, including bitumen, expected to begin in late 2025.
- Ensuring our members’ interests are heard during key stages of EU technical and regulatory developments.
Many of our peer organisations, such as EAPA and CEDR, are also listed in the register along with several of our members; reaffirming the importance of being represented at this level.
For Eurobitume, this registration is not just a formality; it reinforces our visibility, credibility, and voice in EU-level discussions, ensuring we continue to influence the future of bitumen in Europe in a transparent and impactful way.
