Brussels, 15th September 2025 – Experienced European professional association leader Hervé Millet is the new Director General of Eurobitume, where he has taken over from Siobhan McKelvey – who had been at the helm of Eurobitume since September 2018 and ended a seven-year secondment from Nynas.

Swiss Bitumen Day 2025 – A Successful Industry Gathering in Bern
Eurobitume is delighted to share that this year’s edition of the Swiss Bitumen Day was a great success. On the 25th of September 2025, around 90 participants gathered at Kursaal in Bern for the Swiss Bitumen Day 2025. The event, organised by Eurobitume, offered a full set of expert presentations and discussions, focused on environmental sustainability, technical development, and practical solutions in the bitumen and asphalt sector.

Brussels, 1st September 2025 – PEAB Asfalt, part of the Nordic construction group PEAB, and Schenk UK, a leading UK-based haulier of bitumen and emulsions, have today (1st September) become the latest associate members of Eurobitume. further strengthening the association’s role as the unified voice of the bitumen industry across Europe.

New President elected at Eurobitume
Brussels, 10th April 2025 – Fabrice Blanc, VP for TotalEnergies’ Bitumen Business Worldwide is the new President of Eurobitume after being elected at the association’s recent (2nd-3rd April 2025) Spring General Meeting in Prague, where Eurobitume members also elected a new Vice President and Treasurer.
