Share your expertise at the E&E Congress 2028

Abstract submissions are now open for the 9th E&E Congress in Madrid, a chance to put your latest work, ideas and expertise in front of an international audience.

Since its first edition in Strasbourg on 7–10 May 1996, the Eurasphalt & Eurobitume Congress has brought the asphalt and bitumen community together to share research, practical experience and new ideas. Madrid 2028 will continue this tradition, offering contributors an international platform to connect research with practice, exchange perspectives and help shape the next chapter for the sector.

The 2028 programme will bring together a diverse community of researchers, engineers, road authorities, contractors, academics, policymakers and industry professionals. If your work has something new to contribute to the conversation, now is the time to share it.

An abstract is your starting point. From there, selected contributions can become full papers and presentations at the Congress, giving you the opportunity to present your work, meet peers from across the industry and build new professional connections.

  • Abstract deadline: 2 February 2027 at 23:59 CET
  • Length: approximately 200 words
  • Language: English
  • Presentation format: oral or poster
  • Paper submissions: open by 28 February 2027 for authors of accepted abstracts
  • Congress: 10-12 May 2028, Madrid, Spain

Already submitted an abstract? You can still edit your submission or add another abstract before the deadline.
