The Roadcast podcast guest Eurobitume Director General
The second episode of EAPA’s new podcast, The Roadcast, is a captivating discussion between Eurobitume Director General Siobhan McKelvey and podcast host Carsten Karcher, who is the Secretary General of EAPA.
It was an honour to be asked to be the first external guest on this new initiative and I was delighted to be able to share the positive messages about our industry with a wider audience
The wide-ranging podcast covered a number of interesting and topical subjects, particularly the close collaboration between Eurobitume and EAPA across events and issues of common interest.
As well as the forthcoming (19-21st June in Budapest, Hungary) E&E (Eurasphalt & Eurobitume) Congress, which takes place every four years and is jointly organised by the two associations, Carsten and Siobhan also discussed the E&E Event, which was first launched in 2018 and will have its third edition in 2026.
They also spoke about some issues of mutual interest which the two organisations collaborate upon, including sustainability, health & safety, diversity and recruitment.
