Registration open for new Eurobitume webinar: Life Cycle Assessment for Polymer Modified Bitumen
Growing interest in the environmental performance of Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) has led Eurobitume to develop new Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis for PMB. Its outcome will be presented during a new ‘Open to all’ educational webinar on 29 April from 14:00 CEST.
Following the presentation of Eurobitume’s LCA 4.0 study, stakeholders expressed strong interest in more detailed environmental data on PMB. These binders, produced by modifying bitumen with polymers, are widely used to enhance pavement performance, improving durability, flexibility and resistance to heavy traffic and temperature variations.
In response to these requests, Eurobitume has developed additional LCA analysis specifically for PMB. The upcoming webinar will present the results of this work and explain how the new data can help improve understanding of the environmental profile of these materials.
The session will be presented by Brice Delaporte, Sustainability Lead at Eurobitume. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A session.
