Eurobitume attends key international asphalt research conference
Eurobitume was represented at the 63rd Petersen Asphalt Research Conference (PARC), held from 13 to 16 July in Laramie, Wyoming, USA.

Attending on behalf of Eurobitume members, Technical Lead Dr Ian Lancaster engaged with leading researchers and industry experts from around the world and gathered valuable insights into the latest developments in asphalt and bitumen research.
Eurobitume’s participation in the conference, including a technical poster session and exhibition, allowed our association and industry to remain closely connected to emerging scientific developments, contribute to international knowledge exchange and identify research findings of relevance to its members and ongoing technical activities.
Ageing, artificial intelligence, alternative materials, chemistry and rheology were among the principal subjects addressed across the 11 technical sessions of the conference. The keynote sessions focused on polymer modified bitumen and pavement durability.
Approximately 150 delegates from around the world participated in this prestigious knowledge-sharing event, hosted by the highly respected Western Research Institute.
Eurobitume will continue to follow relevant developments arising from the conference and share key insights with its members through its technical committees and activities.
