Registration is now open for Eurobitume’s next open-to-all webinar, taking place on 9 September 2026, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST.
The webinar will explore how the European bitumen industry aims to support the decarbonisation of asphalt production and road construction, drawing on the findings of Eurobitume’s recently published Decarbonisation Roadmap for Bitumen.
During Eurobitume’s third open webinar of 2026, participants will learn more about the industry’s collective ambition to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with bitumen production by 73% by 2050, compared with 1990 levels.
The webinar will present a pathway towards lower-emission bitumen production, explain the context behind it, and highlight the importance of collaboration across the value chain and supportive policy frameworks.
Eurobitume’s Decarbonisation Roadmap represents the first phase of the association’s broader Sustainability Roadmap. Together, these initiatives aim to support informed discussions on the decarbonisation of road infrastructure among policymakers, industry stakeholders and the technical community.
